My husband and I went here for one his childhood friend's wedding (who runs the motel so we got a great deal!). The hotel is located right on highway 3. As this is a typical motel, parking is awesome as it is right outside your door! love it!(the parking lot was where the wedding reception took place), behind the rooms are a beautiful green/lawn area where they have some picnic tables set up and then you see the Granby River (this is also where the wedding ceremony took place). The motel also has a pool, which I took advantage of almost everyday we were there. And I know for a fact that it gets cleaned every night, as I watched Jim clean it each night we were there. The room we were given was better than what I was expecting (it was big!), the bathroom was nothing fancy but it was clean. As we got the friends discount, our rooms weren't cleaned so I don't know how well the staff cleans the rooms. Jim and Chrystal (our friends who runs the place) are friendly people (we might be biased as they are friends lol) and I'm sure they would make anyone feel welcome as much as they welcomed their friends.
I have nothing but great things to say about Johnny's Motel It is a quaint, clean little Motel with relaxing little patios out each room with a view of the river! The staff was super friendly and super helpful. Our vehicle's water pump went after pulling into Grand Forks. Tori the awesome young lady who was in charge of the Front Desk made phone calls and had someone actually come to the Motel to check out our vehicle!! We had to stay an extra night so she gave us a great deal!! I honestly can't say enough great things about her and the other staff as well as the Motel!! If you need a reasonably priced, clean place to stay..stay at Johnny's!!!
I have stayed at Johnnys Motel for work for 20 years now. Very accommodating staff, awesome beds, bar-b -q,s pool. Highly recommend.

Loved this place. Quiet clean rooms along the river. Very attentive and helpful staff (Jimmy). A private beach with chairs and tables along the river, air conditioning, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, hair dryer, comfortable beds. Outdoor pool. A great place to stay
