By far the best hotel we have stayed at in Grand Forks over the last 25 years. Everything was clean, modern and everything looked well maintained. Front lobby was classy and front of hotel landscaped and no dirt, debris or trash in the lot.The room had nice beds, coverings and pillows. The furniture quality was nice, was great to have a desk and to have multiple power outlets and even USB outlets at the nightstand. Rooms were spacious and no bad odours found any where on the property inside it out.The breakfast room was huge and allowed a lot of people to be in there at the same time. This was the most impressive variety of food and drinks available I have ever seen. They even had a staff member present monitoring everything to top up what ever was needed on the fly.The pool area was great as it had 2 hot tubs and a dedicated pool with slide and giant sprinkler mushroom for the kids and another pool for others. 11 PM until midnight close is for adults only.Parking spots were a decent width and lots of parking to accommodate guests.
This would have been a five star however they made changes that ruined the ambience of the hotel. Now with the new look they lost the country feel. Not to mention they took out the stairway in the lobby that goes to the second floor. Now if you want to
This place it terrible. We were promised 2 full sized beds but go 2 twin size beds. As a 6 foot tall 16 year old I can't sleep on a twin size bed, so I slept. Even if I wanted to sleep on those beds, they are so uncomfortable that I wouldn't want to. And room service lol, don't even get me started. We went out at 9 Saturday morning, leaving the please clean our room side out and when we came back at 4 that afternoon, it wasn't cleaned. We watched the cleaner skip our room as we watched down the hallway to see if they'd clean it or not. Moral of the story, go stay somewhere else, anywhere is better than here
Nice. Pool area kept nice but the air was hot as if the a.c. wasn't working. It wasn't even as hot outside. Room is nice, breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful about a minor issue we had (not the hotel's fault). Price is good for the niceness of the building.
One of our better stays at this hotel in some time. There are some nice recent renovations completed to the lobby and breakfast area. However, I will say one of our pillows had some gross stains on it. Hard to believe the pillow case was changed since the last guest, based on several other stays at this hotel where things were a mess. Lucky we had a suite and there were beds we did not use and were able to just switch pillows. Good stay this time...besides the gross pillow case.
