My favorite store..
This is the ONLY place in town that I've ever been extremely satisfied with. A few months ago, I decided I wanted to try a pixie cut, when previously I'd kept my hair shoulder length. The owner of the salon I had previously gone to was the one who cut my hair when it was longer, and so I had her cut my hair really short. It was a horrible, blunt, almost bowl cut. It looked so horrible on me. I went to several different places over the next few months to try to fix it (I had a total of 5 stylists cut my hair before sticking with one at the JCP salon), and finally once I made it into the JCP salon, I told the gal that 5 different people had already tried to pixie cut my hair and nobody had been successful with it. Then I told her that if it didn't work this time, I'd just start to grow it back out again (probably a pretty crappy ultimatum for a stylist, pressure on!). She did an INCREDIBLE job, and I've been going to her now for several months. I recently started to grow my hair back out, and she's been cutting it so nicely, as its hard to grow out a pixie cut gracefully! I've had almost none of the super awkward stages of growing it out! I highly recommend this salon!
Not happy with the price and the results.
I had an appointment the Friday before Easter. I wanted to dye my hair blue which is completely crazy to me. My stylist was super excited to do a dark blue on my hair and really encouraged me to do what I wanted, even though I was concerned it was a little crazy. I loved my hair! It was great on that first day... and second day... hey, third day too. The color came out of my hair so extremely quickly. Within 10 days my hair was green, which was super disappointing. The most disappointing thing about the whole process is that she dyed my hair blue (no bleach, just dyed over my brown hair), trimmed my hair which was half way down my back... and charged me $206. I payed $206 dollars (before tip) to have my hair blue for 10 days and green for the following days, and a hair trim. I was really disappointed and looking back, I wish I would have challenged how expensive it was because it wasn't worth it. I don't think I would come back for that type of service. Maybe just a haircut?
I will definately be coming back to this salon. I was very satisfied with when my hair was finished, and as there was trouble with coloring my hair the color I wanted, the stylist helped me fix it rather than ignoring it like he could have!
